About us

Built for the next generation of search behaviour.

Quentory is a specialised consultancy for the AI era. We help organisations become visible, recognisable and relevant in a search landscape where, increasingly, it is not a search engine but AI that decides which companies and brands get attention.

Who we are

One specialism: Generative Engine Optimization.

Our expertise is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): structurally improving the signals by which AI systems recognise, evaluate and recommend organisations. We combine our own GEO technology with strategic advice, technical expertise, content and authority building.

Where traditional online marketing usually optimises for rankings, clicks and campaigns, we focus on a more fundamental question:

How does AI understand your organisation — and what position do you get in the answer?

Our approach is hands-on and personal. A dedicated team of GEO specialists immerses itself in your organisation, market and competitive landscape and translates insights straight into execution. Technology works continuously in the background; our people guard strategy, quality and progress.

What we believe

AI isn’t just changing how people search.
It’s changing who gets chosen.

The starting point is shifting

AI systems are increasingly the starting point for research, comparison and buying decisions. That creates a new playing field for reputation, authority and visibility.

Don’t wait — steer

We believe organisations shouldn’t wait to see how AI describes them or which competitor gets recommended. They should understand which signals drive those choices and actively steer them. That’s why we develop GEO not as a loose marketing activity, but as a continuous process in which strategy, technology, content, authority and data reinforce each other.

Technology sees, people decide

Our own GEO technology reveals what AI says about your organisation, competitors and market. Our specialists then determine what that means and which actions make the biggest difference.

Technology gives us speed and scale. Human expertise gives us context, direction and quality.

How Quentory came to be

It started with frustration.

A competitor that kept being recommended — wrongly.

As the director of a large Dutch IT consultancy, Sanno Loggen saw something strange happening. Despite proven expertise, client cases and factual evidence, AI answers did not describe his organisation as it really was. Competitors were recommended — sometimes even based on information that was demonstrably wrong.

Traditional SEO agencies initially had little to offer. The prevailing view was that AI answers work fundamentally differently from Google and can hardly be influenced. That answer wouldn’t let Sanno go.

Together with Sicco Dijkman — who has been helping entrepreneurs with their digital visibility for over ten years, from web development and SEO to AI — he started an investigation. They spoke with experts and pioneers at home and abroad, analysed different AI models and researched which factors actually determine which organisations AI understands, mentions and recommends.

For fifteen months the approach was built, tested and refined. What worked was developed further; what didn’t work was dropped. An ever-sharper picture emerged of how AI interprets organisations, expertise and authority. The conclusion was clear: AI visibility is not luck, and not a trick. There are structural signals organisations can simply influence.

At the same time, we saw that this knowledge was hardly being offered as an integrated discipline. Many SEO agencies kept optimising primarily for traditional Google results, while the way people search is fundamentally changing. Now that Google itself is shifting further towards AI-driven search, a new playing field is emerging in which traditional search results give way to AI answers and recommendations. That’s where the room for something new lay.
